Rainy Vang Vieng

It rained pretty much the entire time we were in Vang Vieng.

We checked in.

Admired the view.

And lamented the fact the river was too high and fast to go tubing.

Since many of us were exhausted from not sleeping well at our homestay, we mostly wandered around town.

We ended up hanging out at a bar overlooking the river.

We snuggled in at night to the sound of pouring rain.

In the morning the entire back area of the hotel was flooded. People were using kayaks to get around.

It was time to get out of town before the mountain passes became unpassable. On to Vientiane.
