Ladies who lunch, visit museums and shop

Leaving Geku heading to Naiku we took a local bus. A Pikachu bus!

Before exploring Naiku we all split up for lunch. Katina and I didn't like the idea of eating right by the bus stop so we wandered around a little until we ended up on Oharai-Machi, a cute little pedestrian street with Edo period buildings filled with shops and restaurants.

We ended up in a small spot where a little old woman aat a tanle cross the way kept saying everything she could think of in English: Hello. Goodbye. Thank you. How are you?

The food was cheap and decent.

After our visit to Naiku we spent some time at a museum which used animation and creepy scenes using puppets made from washi paper to tell the story of Amaterasu.

We then spent some time exploring the sites and shops along Oharai-Machi. And I got my first green tea ice cream of the trip!

Yummy!
